ClearTech named to "Canada’s Best Managed Companies"
Date Posted: March 7, 2019

Description

We are honored to be named one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies for 2019. Each year, hundreds of private Canadian companies undergo a rigorous application process, but only the best of the best receive this prestigious designation.  The competition measures much more than financial prowess. It recognizes overall business performance and sustained growth; further, it acknowledges the efforts of the entire organization.

According to Randy Bracewell, President of ClearTech: “The Best Managed program forced us to evaluate our processes, strategies, and performance.  Going forward, it provides a platform to showcase our people and everything they have accomplished.  For a private company who likes to fly under the radar, it’s empowering for our team to get national recognition in the business community.  To be best managed you must have the best people.  I’m proud to say at ClearTech we have Canada’s best.  This award is testament to that.”

Now in its 26th year, Canada’s Best Managed Companies was established to recognize excellence in Canadian owned and managed companies with revenues greater than $15 million. The Best Managed program is sponsored by Deloitte, CIBC, Canadian Business, Smith School of Business, TMX Group and MacKay CEO Forums.

ClearTech Introduces the Lovibond PVT Series of Process Turbidimeters in Canada
Date Posted: November 1, 2017

Description

Saskatoon SK, November 1, 2017:  ClearTech is the Canadian factory authorized service centre and stocking distributor for the new Lovibond PVT Series of Process Turbidimeters in Canada.  Lovibond, a leading manufacturer of water analysis products designed these turbidimeters to monitor the low levels of turbidity found in drinking water.  The PVT Series received US EPA approval as listed the USA Federal Register / Vol 82 / No. 143, in section 40 CFR 141.74(a)(1), published on Thursday, July 27, 2017.

“This is a big milestone,” says Michael Sadar, Lovibond’s Research and Develop Manager.  “We worked hard to develop a system that was not only user friendly, but that is able to achieve the level of accuracy that the operators as well as the regulators expect from a system like this.  We’re really proud of what we were able to accomplish, and we think that operators are really going to like the simplicity of the overall design of the instrument as well as the data management tools that the mobile interface provides.”

With an emphasis on simplifying processes, data management, and reducing water usage, the design of the PTV Series considered every aspect of process turbidity workflow.  The system is configurable to offer operators a variety of options including integrated flow indication and bi-directional Bluetooth® communication between the sensor and a mobile device.  Additional accessories to assist with installation, sample management and routine procedures such as calibrations and cleanings are also available.

As a stocking distributor and factory authorized service centre, ClearTech offers complete installation and ongoing maintenance service on the PVT Series Turbidimeters.

To order and for more information about the PVT Series, contact ClearTech at 1.800.387.7503 or orders@cleartech.ca.

Prime Minister Stephen Harper Visits ClearTech
Date Posted: October 7, 2015

Description

It was a very exciting day at ClearTech. At about 9:00 AM we had a visit from the Conservative Leader and Prime Minister Stephen Harper. Stephen and his wife Laureen stopped in at our head office to have a "fireside chat" on women's issues in the workplace. The focus group included 12 ladies, including our own Jennelle, Phyllis, Megan, and Jennie.

Putting personal politics aside it was very cool for everyone here to have the leader of our country stop in and enjoy a coffee with the good people at ClearTech.

Prime Minister Harper was at the ClearTech Head Office and at Handy Special Events here in Saskatoon today to announce initiatives for new parents in the workforce. The cool thing to us here at ClearTech is the backdrop for the Video - Quebec Ave - and the "other" stars of the show Jennelle and Seth. Take a look:
http://www.conservative.ca/cpc/more-support-for-parents/

For more pictures from today, check out CBC, Saskatoon Star Pheonix, the CPC page, and our Facebook page.

Our thanks to everyone involved with making this exciting day happen here at Quebec Ave.

Pilgrim Bandits Expedition
Date Posted: September 4, 2015

Description

ClearTech is proud to support the Pilgrim Bandits Expedition. We have donated some of our Pristine products to help support the participants on this expedition.

Here is a littler history about the Pilgrim Bandits Expedition.

The original charity started in the UK in 2007. It was founded by a retired British Special Forces member with the sole aim to serve those who were injured or sustained amputations during their service of the armed forces. Historically, the Pilgrim Bandits have been focused on providing annual, physically demanding, and often remote, wilderness expeditions for those who apply.

In 2015, a new chapter of the Pilgrim Bandits was launched in Western Canada. As of September 3rd, the Canadian Pilgrim Bandits and the UK Pilgrim Bandits are running a joint expedition on the Yukon River. The expedition includes veterans from both Canada and the UK, currently serving military personnel, and civilian participants. The group of veterans includes five participants who are amputees.

The expedition left Whitehorse on September 5th, and they will travel 465 miles north to Dawson City. They hope to finish on the September 20th.

You can track their expedition here http://www.yukon465.com/.
